Hwa Chong boasts top student in Singapore

KOH Mingming - the top student across Singapore - scored nine distinctions at 13 AUs. She was part of Hwa Chong's bi-cultural studies programme and is effectively trilingual (English, Chinese and French). She now has a place at Harvard and Yale.
Hwa Chong Institution produced a record 94 perfect scorers for the 2010 A-level Examinations, the best results in four years.
It did exceedingly well in the Humanities, Mathematics and Sciences.
More than 60 students scored eight distinctions and better. For the fourth year running, Hwa Chong had more than 200 students score seven distinctions and better.
Over six in 10 Hwa Chong students scored 3H2 distinctions and better, making them eligible for admission to any top university worldwide.
In addition, two students were awarded the Gold Medal of Excellence in Physics, presented by the Institute of Physics to top A-level Physics candidates.
